Knitting Stories is a community-led podcast initiated by Alessandra Gentili and shaped through collective consultation within the Warm Welcome Saturday group, part of the Heart of Newhaven community in Edinburgh (Scotland). Grounded in Community Learning and Development (CLD) Standards, it prioritises inclusion, participation, and equity, with co-designed choices around timing, space, and themes.
More than a podcast, it is a shared space where knitting becomes connection, wellbeing, and storytelling.
