Through partnership working and community engagement we seek to reduce isolation, challenge and remove barriers to participation, and create opportunities for people of all ages, from all walks of life and with a variety of interests, to come together.
Our intergenerational hub will help people experience, share and exchange culture and heritage, engage in formal and informal learning, and develop business and enterprise skills in an accessible, welcoming environment that contributes to the positive wellbeing of our Community.

The History of Education Centre’s Victorian Schoolroom provides a unique opportunity in Edinburgh to discover the changes that have taken place in schools and domestic life, in particular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Men of Leith Men’s Shed
The Men’s Shed provides recreational facilities to advance the social needs, health and wellbeing of men of all ages and backgrounds living in Leith and surrounding areas, enabling them to feel valued and part of the community.

Mwamba
Mwamba provides support for African and ethnic minority women living in Edinburgh.
Mwamba’s North East Edinburgh Counselling Service supports the people of north east Edinburgh to improve their mental wellbeing.

Vintage Vibes
Vintage Vibes tackle isolation and loneliness in the over 60s in Edinburgh.
They pair volunteers and VIPs with shared interests together, tackling loneliness by creating long lasting friendships.

Ink on Mesh
IoM Studio is a creative space for all, based in Newhaven, Edinburgh; providing accessible studio space for artists, makers, graduates and hobbyists to meet, learn, experiment and connect through the craft of screen printing and textiles.
IoM promotes and encourages creative expression, community connections, confidence building and wellbeing in a friendly professional environment.

Tortoise in a Nutshell delivers visual theatre participatory projects, touring productions and community engagement programmes for audiences of all ages.

Borja Moronta
Borja’s pottery practice makes ceramics that are a reflection of the states of mind experienced while working with clay and its physical processes: from the mindfulness of throwing, to the physicality of preparing clay or the natural slow pace behind the steps that clay follows to become a ceramic piece.

Bookbinding with Cass
Cass loves to make books and is passionate about making the craft of bookbinding fun and accessible.
She is particularly inspired by working with remnant materials and transforming pre-loved and recycled materials into unique and usable books.

Patricia García, ceramicist in Blanc, creates timeless pieces, with clean and organic lines, using neutral tones to inspire the senses.
Patricia aims to highlight the beauty of simplicity and the character of handmade objects by creating pieces that bring calm to their settings.
