What We Are

A Meeting Centre is a social club for people living with mild to moderate dementia.

What We Do

We take a person-centred approach and offer a range of activities based on the skills and interests of our members.

Every Tuesday, 11:00am-1:00pm, we have two hours of creative fun featuring favourite music, art, song-writing, movies, chair yoga… or whatever else takes our members’ fancy!

We provide teas, coffees, and a healthy bowl of soup.

How to Join

Places are limited so please contact Jan Brown for a referral form: hello@heartofnewhaven.co.uk

Your first month will be free. Following that, we request a £5 per session donation to cover the cost of the room hire and refreshments.

If you need help with personal care or have issues with mobility then please bring a friend, relative or care partner to support you. Care partners can attend for free.

Carer’s Club

Do you care for someone recently diagnosed with dementia? Our Carer’s Club a safe space to ask questions and share your experience.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month, 11:30-12:30.

Places are free, but limited so please contact Jan Brown: hello@heartofnewhaven.co.uk
